It was reported that Starbucks changed the flavor French Roast coffee to contain some caramel undertones. I thought I should at least try the new version. I was very disappointed. It tastes like "muddy water."
It has become difficult to find Starbucks French Roast Whole Bean Coffee, in the 40 oz. bags. I was delighted to find this seller, and in no time, I had two large bags on my front porch, securely boxed. The price was excellent, free shipping! That shipment will last a long time, but I must have clicked TWICE when I bought the first two, for soon after, another two arrived. It was like Christmas! This coffee is dark and rich, and is the only type we brew with our Chemex system. We are spoiled, and this seller has allowed us to stock up. Super opportunity for us.
